Now the question arises that how this magic happens?

The magic is all about playing with the light. It works on the principle of Light Interpolation i.e. it projects infrared light on the screen of your laptop. When you touch a finger on the display, a feedback from the point of contact is sent back to your laptop and the action gets completed.

How to install Airbar-

  • It is simple to install the device. Firstly, you will have to see what your laptop’s screen size is and accordingly choose the Airbar of the respective size. Now peel the round strikers from the two magnets on the back of AirBar.
  • Place the AirBar right on the bezel below your laptop’s display, with the top of the Airbar about 3mm below the bottom of the display. There are small marks on each side of AirBar and the display should fit inside those marks.
  • Now attach AirBar to the bottom bezel and press above the magnet points. Then remove the AirBar and press the magnets for 10-15 seconds.
  • Lastly attach your Airbar against the magnets placed on the bottom bezel and plug in the USB.
It’s done! Simple isn’t it? Now you have a touch screen laptop with all the touch screen functionalities.



It is a really good and affordable device for Mac-Book user by the time Apple is not launching a touch screen option. There is negligible amount of lagging when it comes to touch and working of the Airbar. And there no need for installing any additional drivers  for laptops running Windows or Chrome operating system.
The product when launched left many people in shock as it met the standards of the upcoming future technologies. And the company is planning to make Airbar for more type of screen like Desktop, LCDs, LEDs etc.
